
International students who wish to enrol at the Università degli Studi Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria in order to obtain an Italian degree or who wish to spend a period of mobility at our University may consult the following sections to find out the procedures to follow.

For the academic year 2024-2025, 54 I and II level degree courses will be active, divided into:
13 three-year degree courses, of which 2 inter-university;
11 two-year degree courses, of which 1 inter-university;
3 five-year single-cycle degree courses.
In addition to these degree courses, at post-graduate level, there is the School of Specialisation for the Legal Professions, as well as Master and PhD programmes.

The Università degli Studi Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria, with the support of CISIA (Consorzio Interuniversitario Sistemi Integrati per l'Accesso - Inter-University Consortium for Integrated Access Systems) provides the TEST ITA L2 | Cisia on line (abbreviated to TEST ITA-L2 (Bravo!)) aimed at assessing knowledge of Italian at level B2, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. This test is intended for students from countries outside the European Union who wish to enrol in one of the degree courses in Italian offered by the University and who require a study visa.
The test will be delivered in the TEST ITA-L2@CASA mode
The TEST ITA-L2 is a computer-based test and is delivered online via the platform owned by CISIA. The test structure, syllabus and assessment are available on the TEST ITA-L2 Structure and topics page.

The TEST ITA-L2, which is required for enrolment in degree courses, is only self-assessing.
The level of knowledge of the Italian language is assessed according to the following criterion.
P ≤11 | Those who score less than or equal to 11 can be considered to be at a beginner level of knowledge of the Italian language and in any case below A1 level. |
11 < P ≤ 32 | Those who score more than 11 and less than or equal to 32 can be considered to be at an elementary level of knowledge of the Italian language and in any case between the possible A1 and A2 levels. |
32 < P ≤ 48 | Those who score more than 32 and less than or equal to 48 points can be considered to be at a pre-intermediate level of knowledge of the Italian language and in any case between the possible A2+ and B1 levels. |
48 < P ≤ 61 | Those who score more than 48 and less than or equal to 61 can be considered to be at an intermediate level of knowledge of the Italian language and in any case between the possible B1+ and B2 levels. |
61< P ≤ 72 | Those who obtain a score higher than 61 up to the maximum obtainable score of 72 can be considered to be at an advanced level of knowledge of the Italian language and in any case among the possible B2 and C1 levels. |
The test is considered passed when a minimum score of 49 is achieved.
