Refugee Students

The Università Mediterranea has begun the process to join the University Corridors for Refugees project promoted by UNHCR, the United Nations Refugee Agency.

The project allows to start the procedures foreseen for the reception of refugee students coming from the African continent.

The University Corridors for Refugees - UNICORE 7.0 Call is now open for Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe for 3 scholarships and reception services for refugee students for the master's degree courses at the Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria for the Academic Years 2025/2026-2026/2027.

The overall objective of the University Corridors for Refugees – UNICORE 7.0 is to promote the right to higher education for refugees through study corridors from Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe to Italy.
