If you have had a positive outcome in the pre-evaluation for access to one of our three-year or five-year single-cycle degree courses, you can insert the following documentation into Universitaly:

  • Passport;
  • Photo;
  • Original of the high school diploma  (obtained after at least 12 years of schooling), or a substitute certificate valid for all legal purposes, accompanied by a certified translation into Italian;
  • Certificate attesting to having passed the academic suitability tests, if required for admission to the universities of the respective countries of origin, accompanied by a sworn translation into Italian;
  • Declaration of value of the foreign qualification issued by the Italian diplomatic consular representation in the country in which it was obtained, or alternatively Certificate of Comparability  issued by the Italian ENIC-NARIC centre (CIMEA);
  • Legalization  of the qualification or Apostille  of the foreign qualification issued by the Italian diplomatic representation in the country where the foreign qualification was obtained or alternatively Verification Certificate issued by the Italian ENIC-NARIC centre (CIMEA) .
  • Italian language proficiency certification at Level B2 . Students who meet the requirements set out in Article 6 of Circular 2025-2026 (https://www.universitaly.it/studenti-stranieri ) are exempt from the test .   A B2 level certification or test is required for all languages ​​in which the course is taught (for example, if the course is taught in both Italian and English, the certification/test is required for both).

If you have successfully completed the pre-assessment for enrollment in one of our two-year Master's Degree programs, you can upload the following documents to Universitaly:

  • Original of the foreign university qualification corresponding to the first cycle according to the Bologna Process qualifications framework and level 6 according to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) obtained from a higher education institution which allows the continuation of studies at academic institutions in the next level (second cycle of the Bologna Process/EQF level 7) on site, and which does not present any “substantial difference” according to the principles of the Lisbon Convention and the national methodology adopted by the Italian ENIC-NARIC centre (CIMEA), provided with a sworn translation into Italian ;
  • Certificate issued by the competent University attesting to the exams passed (transcript) accompanied by a sworn translation into Italian , as well as for each discipline, the programs for obtaining the aforementioned qualifications accompanied by a translation. The study program may be certified by the Diploma Supplement, where adopted;
  • Declaration of value of the foreign qualification issued by the Italian diplomatic consular representation in the country where it was obtained, or alternatively Certificate of Comparability issued by the Italian ENIC-NARIC centre (CIMEA);
  • Legalization  of the qualification or Apostille  of the foreign qualification issued by the Italian diplomatic representation in the country where the foreign qualification was obtained or alternatively Verification Certificate issued by the Italian ENIC-NARIC centre (CIMEA) .
  • Italian language proficiency certification at Level B2 . To obtain a B2 level Italian language qualification, the University offers the CISIA TEST online procedure CISIA ITA-L2 (Bravo!)
