Among these, the inauguration ceremonies of the academic year, the honorary degrees, the conferences, the presentations and the public initiatives, expression of the identity of the University and its commitment to dialogue with the academic community, the territory and the institutions.
Academic Year Inaugurations
The inauguration of the academic year is the occasion in which the University illustrates the salient aspects of its activity and the directions for the new Academic Year, with the reports of the Rector, a representative of the Technical, Administrative and Library Staff and a Student Representative. On many occasions, the Ceremony includes the presence of highly prestigious personalities of the State: Academic procession and speech by an illustrious guest are the characterizing elements of the ceremonies.
It is with these interventions that a new academic year is symbolically launched.
Since 1983/1984 the Università Mediterranea celebrates this prestigious event.
