Institutional Event

The Università degli Studi Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria, in the presence of all civil, military and religious authorities, and all academic components, inaugurated its Academic Year 2024/25. The inauguration ceremony was embellished by the awarding of the Honorary Master's Degree in Forestry and Environmental Sciences to Alberto Angela.
 

In his opening speech, Rector Giuseppe Zimbalatti, after thanking all the participants , presented the annual general report on the state and prospects of the University. Below are some significant passages.

“It has been a year of intense work, but also of satisfaction, in which results have been achieved, sometimes exceeding expectations, even if there are still many things to do. All this has been possible thanks to the commitment of the academic community, which works motivated and united on the objectives of the University and has addressed heartfelt thanks to the administrative structure, to all the members of the governing and management bodies (Academic Senate, Board of Directors, Board of Auditors, Student Council, Evaluation Unit, Quality Assurance, CUG, Cus, RUS, PhD School …..), to the Pro-Rectors and Delegates”.
