Statement of Comparability / Statement of Verification CIMEA Diplome

The Università degli Studi Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria has signed an agreement with CIMEA, the Information Center on Academic Mobility and Equivalence, to issue a Certificate of Comparability and a Certificate of Verification for foreign secondary school and/or university qualifications.

Comparability refers to the level of the foreign qualification in relation to the Bologna Process cycles and the EQF (European Qualifications Framework) levels.
This comparison does not in any way establish formal recognition of the foreign qualification within the Italian system or by the University of Reggio Calabria, but it is a useful indication for the Italian institution evaluating the foreign qualification during the various recognition procedures.

Statements of Comparability and/or Verification are managed through the Diplome platform, which is entirely in English.
With Diplome, CIMEA issues its Statements of Comparability (Statements of Comparability) on blockchain, allowing degree holders to share their qualifications simply, securely, and with certification with any institution in the world.

The Statement of Verification is also available alongside the Statement of Comparability , through which CIMEA, thanks to its experience in the sector, will verify the actual issuance of an academic or secondary school qualification by the competent foreign institution.

Once a MyDiplome account has been created, students will be able to independently manage all contact with CIMEA experts and, in particular, will be able to:
- find all the information necessary to request a Statement of Comparability and/or Verification;
- access a dedicated section called "Required Documents" where they will find a detailed list, for all countries in the world, of the documentation required to issue the requested Certificates;
- directly download the Consent Form to sign and attach to the Certificate request;
- contact us directly via the "Info Request" service for any needs or information .

Each user can track the status of requests submitted to CIMEA directly through the “My Services” section of their MyDiplome account.

Once issued by CIMEA, the Certificates of Comparability and Verification will be sent in PDF format directly to the applicant through the "My Services" section. They will then be published on the digital Wallet, thus being registered and shareable directly by the student via blockchain technology.
