Library Architecture Area

The Architecture Area Library consists of two sections: the central “Eugenio Battisti” Section and the “Umberto Zanotti Bianco” Section, both in the University Citadel. 

The Central Section is located in the central building, next to the cafeteria. The “Umberto Zanotti Bianco” Section is located on the ground floor of the third block.

The Central Section has approximately 60,000 volumes and 350 periodical titles, both active and inactive, in the following sectors: urban planning, architectural technology, architectural design, art history, design, architectural history, restoration, sociology, Calabria, law and economics. There is also a collection of degree theses since 2002 .

The Library rooms are equipped with workstations for access to the University OPAC and the electronic resources to which the University is subscribed and are equipped with electrical outlets and Wi-Fi for connecting to the Internet with your devices. There are also two workstations for the visually impaired.

 

 

Section "Umberto Zanotti Bianco"

The “Umberto Zanotti Bianco” Section has a collection of over 20,000 bibliographic units, including periodicals and encyclopedic texts, mainly in the following sectors: history of architecture, restoration, urban planning, economics and appraisal. There is a considerable amount of bibliographic material on history, art, architecture, socio-political and economic issues of southern Italy and, in particular, Calabria. Numerous valuable books are collected in the “Ancient Fund”, in addition to a large IGM and CASME cartographic collection. 

The Library is equipped with a workstation for accessing the University Catalogue and the electronic resources to which the University is subscribed and is equipped with electrical sockets and Wi-Fi for connecting to the Internet with your own devices.
