Library Architecture Area

The Architecture Area Library consists of two sections: the central “Eugenio Battisti” Section and the “Umberto Zanotti Bianco” Section, both in the University Citadel. 

The Central Section is located in the central building, next to the cafeteria. The “Umberto Zanotti Bianco” Section is located on the ground floor of the third block.

The Central Section holds approximately 60,000 volumes and 350 periodical titles, both active and inactive, in the following fields: urban planning, architectural technology, architectural design, art history, design, architectural history, restoration, sociology, Calabria, law and economics, general reference works, and rare books. The collection of graduate theses, which dates back to 2002 , is also present .

The Library's rooms are equipped with workstations for accessing the University OPAC and the University's electronic resources , and are equipped with electrical outlets and Wi-Fi for connecting to the internet with personal devices. There are also two workstations for the visually impaired.

 

 

Section "Umberto Zanotti Bianco"

The "Umberto Zanotti Bianco" Section holds over 20,000 bibliographical items, including periodicals and encyclopedic texts, primarily in the following fields: history of architecture, restoration, urban planning, economics, and appraisal. The bibliographic material on the history, art, architecture, socio-political, and economic issues of Southern Italy, particularly Calabria, is substantial. The "Ancient Collection" includes numerous valuable books, as well as a large collection of IGM and CASME maps. 

The Library is equipped with a workstation for accessing the University Catalogue and the electronic resources to which the University has subscribed, and is equipped with electrical outlets and Wi-Fi for connecting to the Internet with your own devices.
