The Department
The Department of Civil, Energy, Environmental, and Materials Engineering (DICEAM) was born from the need to create a departmental structure primarily focused on engineering with a strong interdisciplinary focus. This structure aims to foster and promote fruitful interactions between basic and applied sciences that can support a broad, complex, and sustainable research and teaching program.
The departmental structure, in addition to contributing to the rationalization of administrative and management resources, as required by Law 240/10, enables a broad strategic interdisciplinary network, positioning itself within the Calabrian and national context as a highly qualified partner for the promotion and implementation of cultural, scientific, and educational initiatives in engineering-related fields, with particular reference to civil and environmental engineering, land protection, environmental protection, materials protection, and energy protection.
The Department's expertise is such as to guarantee a qualified and sustainable educational offering in the CUN 08 area.
