Academic Year 2026/2027

The teaching organization of the 2026/2027 academic year degree courses within the Department provides for the distribution of the teaching over two semesters. 

Classes for the first semester will formally begin on September 21st and will conclude on December 4th 2026 . 

Classes for the second semester will begin on February 15, 2027 and will end on May 7, 2027 .

The exams are divided into 6 ordinary sessions, reserved for all students, and 2 extraordinary sessions reserved for the categories of students described below.

Teachers are required to indicate separate dates for each individual exam session, taking into account that, except in exceptional cases, fifteen days must elapse between the start dates of two consecutive exam sessions.

The exam dates for each course must be set at least 7 days after the conclusion of the relevant lecture courses.

For subjects requiring at least 9 credits, teachers may schedule ongoing tests, to be carried out during lessons, for the purpose of effectively organizing the study programs.

The dates of the exams must be set by the teachers according to the indications reported in the

following table:

  • 1st Exam Session: December 2026 (one week after the end of the lessons of the individual courses);

 

  • II Appeal: February 2027 ( from 1st to 12th February );

 

  • III Appeal: May 2027 ( from 17th to 31st May );

 

  • IV Appeal: June 2027 ;

 

  • V Appeal: July 2027 ( from 01 to 09 July );

 

  • VI Appeal: September 2027 ( from 6 to 17 September ).

 

  • 1st Extraordinary exam session (academic year 2025/2026): from 7 to 16 January 2027 (the extraordinary exam session is reserved for students who are behind in their studies, workers, military personnel or in civil service, graduates, those enrolled in single courses, incoming Erasmus students in compliance with the semester schedule, students with disabilities and DSA, pregnant students, students who are parents of children up to 12 years of age, students with dual enrollment, PA 110 students).

 

  • II Extraordinary Exam Session (academic year 2025/2026): from 1 to 6 March 2027 (the extraordinary exam session is reserved for students who are behind in their studies, workers, military personnel or in civil service, graduates, those enrolled in single courses, incoming Erasmus students in compliance with the semester schedule, students with disabilities and DSA, pregnant students, students who are parents of children up to 12 years of age, students with dual enrollment, PA 110 students).

(During the extraordinary exam session of March 2027, second semester classes are suspended.)

Academic Year 2025/2026

The teaching organization of the 2025/2026 academic year degree courses within the Department envisages the distribution of the teaching over two semesters. 

Classes for the first semester will formally begin on October 1st and will conclude on December 5th 2025 . 

Classes for the second semester will begin on February 16, 2026 , and will end on May 8, 2026 .

The exams are divided into 6 ordinary sessions, reserved for all students, and 2 extraordinary sessions reserved for the categories of students described below.

Teachers are required to indicate separate dates for each individual exam session, taking into account that, except in exceptional cases, fifteen days must elapse between the start dates of two consecutive exam sessions.

For the Degree Courses belonging to the Department, the Degree Sessions will be held on the following days:

  1. January 22-23, 2026 (academic year 2024/2025)
  2. March 12-13, 2026 (academic year 2024/2025)
  3. May 7-8, 2026
  4. June 26, 2026 : Extraordinary graduation session reserved for the Master's Degree in Primary Education Sciences LM-85bis
  5. July 20-21, 2026
  6. October 8-9, 2026

 

Definition of the status of “graduating student” for students about to obtain a Bachelor's Degree

For the Master's Degree in Law (LMG/01) , a graduate is anyone who still has to take up to 3 exams for a maximum of 23 credits and has submitted an application for assignment of a degree thesis.

For the Master's Degree in Primary Education Sciences - LM85BIS , a graduate is anyone who still has four exams to complete, with a maximum of 24 credits, and has applied for the assignment of a thesis.

For the Master's Degree in Economics (LM-56) , a graduate is anyone who still has two exams to complete, with a maximum of 15 credits, and has applied for the assignment of a thesis.

For the Degree Course in Educational and Training Sciences -L-19 , a graduate is anyone who still has to take three exams with a maximum of 20 credits and has submitted an application for assignment of the degree thesis.

For the Degree Course in Economic Sciences -L-33 , a graduate is anyone who still has to take three exams with a maximum of 20 credits and has submitted an application for the assignment of a degree thesis.

 

Academic Year 2024/2025

The teaching organization of the degree course provides for the distribution of courses over two semesters.

Classes for the first semester will formally begin on October 1, 2024 and will conclude on December 6, 2024 .

Classes for the second semester will begin on February 17, 2025 and will end on May 9, 2025 .

Exams are divided into six regular sessions, open to all students, and two special sessions, open to students who are behind schedule, workers, military personnel, or in civilian service, graduating students, students enrolled in individual courses, and incoming Erasmus students. Instructors are required to indicate separate dates for each session, keeping in mind that, barring exceptional circumstances, there must be a fifteen-day gap between the start dates of two consecutive sessions. Exam dates for each subject must be scheduled at least seven days after the end of the relevant course (or classes for the relevant subjects). For subjects requiring at least nine credits, ongoing tests are preferably scheduled during class to facilitate better organization of the study program. Exam dates must be scheduled according to the indications in the following table:

• 1st Exam Session: December 2024 (one week after the end of lessons REFERRING TO THE SINGLE TEACHING COURSE);
• 2nd Exam Session: February 2025 (from 3rd to 14th February);
• 3rd Exam Session: May 2025 (from 19th to 30th May);
• 4th Exam Session: June 2025 ;
• 5th Exam Session: July 2025 (from 1st to 11th July);
• 6th Exam Session: September 2025 (from 17th to 30th September).


• 1st Extraordinary Exam Session (2023/2024 academic year): from 7th to 17th January 2025 (the extraordinary exam session is reserved for students who are behind in their studies, workers, military personnel or in civil service, graduates, students enrolled in single courses and also incoming Erasmus students in compliance with the semester schedule, students with disabilities and DSA, pregnant students and student parents with children up to 12 years of age).

• 2nd Extraordinary Exam Session (2023/2024 academic year): from 3rd to 7th March 2025 (the extraordinary exam session is reserved for students who are behind in their studies, workers, military personnel or in civil service, graduates, students enrolled in single courses and also incoming Erasmus students in compliance with the semester schedule, students with disabilities and DSA, pregnant students and student parents with children up to 12 years of age).

For the degree courses within the Department, graduation sessions will be held on the following days:

  1. October 9 - 10, 2024 (academic year 2023/2024)
  2. January 23-24, 2025 (academic year 2023/2024)
  3. March 13-14, 2025 (academic year 2023/2024)
  4. May 7-8, 2025
  5. June 26, 2025 (reserved for the Primary Education Sciences Degree Course - LM85 bis)
  6. July 22-23, 2025
  7. October 8-9, 2025 (academic year 2024/2025)

 

Definition of the status of “graduating student” for students about to obtain a Bachelor's Degree
