Erasmus Student Network (ESN)

Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is an interdisciplinary student association in Europe. It was founded on 16 October 1989 and legally registered in 1990 in order to support and develop international student mobility activities.
ESN works to support and develop "Student Exchange" at different levels and to provide an intercultural experience also to those students who cannot access a period of study abroad ("internationalization at Home").
ESN Italy is the national level of the Erasmus Student Network , and is made up of over 18,000 members distributed across 50 local sections.
The main objective of ESN is to promote the social and personal integration of students who participate in mobility programs. Local sections offer help, guidance, information for all these students. They also organize trips, parties, activities to promote European integration in accordance with the motto "united in diversity" .
ESN Rhegium (Erasmus Student Network Reggio Calabria), born in September 2006 from the initiative of some students from Reggio with study experiences abroad in order to promote the European student mobility project, entered the ESN Italy network during the National Platform of December 2006.
Closely linked to the Università degli Studi Mediterranea , every year ESN Rhegium enrolls on average between 80 and 100 students, including Erasmus students.
Since its birth, the section has guaranteed various services for Erasmus students present in the city. Every year, in collaboration with the neighboring sections, some trips are organized to explore and learn about the territory of the Strait area together with activities to facilitate the integration of European students into the Reggio society and to show them the historical and cultural heritage of the City of the Strait.

After receiving the match, you will be able to get in touch with the former Erasmus student who has already had a similar experience to yours, in order to resolve doubts, receive information or simply talk to those who have experienced the same pre-departure emotions as you.
Where are you going on Erasmus? Register on Papaya and get your Match!
Participants: the Project is aimed at Erasmus students who have already obtained the destination.
