Public Relations Office

It is a service required by law that aims to promote and ensure communication between the Public Administration and all its users, through the monitoring and systematic updating of the institutional website, the exercise of the right of access to documents in a spirit of administrative transparency, and the reception of reports and suggestions from users.

She coordinates and updates official communication channels, particularly the institutional website, newsletters, and other digital tools, ensuring content accessibility in compliance with current regulations.

The introduction of Public Relations Offices (URP) into the Italian legal system is part of a broader culture of administrative transparency and a growing focus on the quality of services and the relationship between institutions and citizens.

Law 150 of 2000, regarding public communication and information, is an important step in the reforms initiated in the 1990s, which designated the Public Relations Office (URP) as the body responsible for communication activities. The same law established two additional bodies, the Press Office and the Spokesperson, which carry out information activities, establishing a definitive dividing line between the bodies dedicated to information and those dedicated to communication.

Among the tasks assigned by law to the Urp, the coordination of the institutional website takes on particular importance (L. 150/2000, Dir. Dip. Funzione Pubblica 7.2.2002 and subsequent amendments and additions - OD 7/2011).

Both the academic community and external users can send requests regarding publications or content on the University website to [email protected] .

Requests regarding activities to be promoted must be received well in advance to allow for publication scheduling, any requests for changes or additions to be processed by the applicant, and the production of supporting graphic materials by the relevant offices.
