Additional Training Obligations (OFA) dAeD

Additional Educational Obligations (OFA) are an educational debt that, pursuant to art. 6 of Ministerial Decree 270/2004, is attributed to the student who does not have adequate preparation on the basis of the initial assessment test, at the time of admission to a university course of study.

The goal of OFAs is to ensure that all students have the basic knowledge needed to successfully complete the course of study. These obligations may concern subjects such as mathematics, Italian language, logic, physics or other basic disciplines, depending on the degree program chosen.

Students with OFAs must pass the courses or additional activities required during their university career, usually within the first year. If they do not comply with these obligations, they cannot continue with the planned study plan, preventing them from taking exams or obtaining training credits (CFU) related to the degree course.

In some cases, OFAs can be satisfied through remedial courses, seminars, laboratories or specific tests organized by the University. Fulfilling these obligations is essential to guarantee the success of the academic path and the achievement of the educational objectives of the course of study.
