The academic calendar outlines the activities and deadlines of the Department of Education and other subjects. It includes holiday periods and highlights important events and periods for students, faculty, and university staff. For example, it lists class periods, exam sessions, and graduation sessions.
The courses are divided into two semesters, as follows:
- first semester : from Monday 21 September 2026 to Friday 11 December 2026;
- second semester : from Monday 22 February 2027 to Friday 19 March 2027 and from Monday 5 April 2027 to Friday 28 May 2027.

Extraordinary sessions are reserved for students who meet one of the following requirements:
- Students enrolled in three-year degree courses with a debt of no more than 30 credits, excluding the final exam and other training activities (art. 5, paragraph d of Ministerial Decree 270/2004)
- Students enrolled in master's degree courses with no more than 24 credits in arrears, excluding the final exam and other training activities (Article 5, paragraph d of Ministerial Decree 270/2004)
- Students returning from mobility programs abroad (e.g. Erasmus) - the April exam session is to be considered an extension of the exam sessions scheduled from December 15, 2025 to February 20, 2026.
- students enrolled in the 2026/27 academic year in the third year of undergraduate degree courses and in the second year of graduate degree courses (only for the November 2027 session);
- students enrolled, at least, in the first year of the 2026/27 academic year (third year of the 2027 academic year for the three-year degree and second year of the 2027 academic year for the master's degree)
- students enrolled part-time

- March 9 - 10, 2027 (extension of degree sessions for the 2025/2026 academic year).
