Goals:

Students will focus specifically on artificial intelligence, civil law, and human rights, through in-person lectures in Reggio Calabria (six hours at the Università Mediterranea and six hours at a residential facility in Tropea-Capo Vaticano), as well as online seminars and meetings for a total of 12 hours. They will discuss whether artificial intelligence is destined to transform the practice of civil law and whether the logic-oriented methodology of law is an area in which artificial intelligence can be fruitfully applied.

Plan:

The diverse cultural backgrounds of the students will allow them to examine the topic of Artificial Intelligence from multiple perspectives; this will allow students to experience firsthand any divergences or convergences of opinion between the Italian and Polish scientific communities on this topic.
Expected learning outcomes:
- Conduct effective legal research using efficient methods: identify and analyze norms, as well as unresolved legal issues and ambiguities within the legal system.
- Frame legal issues in broader institutional contexts: analyze norms from diverse and global perspectives; discuss the political, social, and economic dynamics that shape the law; and examine not only the likelihood of legal success of a thesis or strategy, but also the moral, economic, social, political, and other factors that such thesis or strategy entails.

Goals:

Creating an innovative relationship between urban spaces and trees. The renewal of urban public spaces requires new approaches, in an era of growing environmental value linked to climate change.

Plan:

After a series of information sessions on the project locations, the BIP aims to explore new possible scenarios for public spaces, in which trees become new monuments and art forms. The city of trees becomes a paradigm to be visualized through the creation of drawings and physical models. Students are asked to imagine and create new urban scenarios related to climate change.
